JEROMESVILLE — The Falcons are ready to take flight.
Perennial girls softball powerhouse Hillsdale (14-3) earned the No. 2 seed in Sunday’s Division VI tournament draw and will host No. 31 Medina Christian in the sectional finals at 5 p.m. May 13.
Mapleton (16-1) picked up the No. 3 seed. The Mounties will host No. 27 Wellington at 5 p.m. May 13 for a sectional title.
No. 15 Loudonville (10-8) will visit No. Columbiana Crestview for a sectional final at 5 p.m. May 13.
Division III
Ashland (5-10) will visit top-seeded Shelby (18-4) for a sectional final game at 5 p.m. May 14.
The winner will meet No. 4 seed Madison (10-9-1) at 4 p.m. May 21 in the Willard district semifinals.
Division V
Crestview (8-5) collected the No. 5 seed in the Division V draw. The Cougars will visit No. 4 Huron for a sectional final at 5 p.m. May 13.
