Denise L. Carson, 58, of Ashland, Ohio passed from this life on Wednesday morning, May 27, 2026, in her home with her loving family at her side.
She was born on August 14, 1967, in Oakland, California, the daughter of the late Richard and Patricia (nee Pilot) Karvonen.
Denise graduated from high school in 1985. She married Andy Carson on August 12, 1999. In the early 2000’s, Denise and Andy relocated to Ashland from Seattle, Washington.
She was employed at Cabinet Restylers for the last several years and was previously employed at McGraw Hill for more than 18 years.
Throughout her life, she enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles and word searches, flower gardening, and was an avid reader. Denise loved visiting the metropolitan aquariums and zoos, crocheting and watching both Disney and Hallmark movies.
She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Andy Carson of Ashland; three children, Benjamin (Jill) Marbut of Vista, California, Kyle (Eric Dominguz) Marbut of Richmond, Virginia, and Amanda (Justin Cox) Carson of Wooster; one granddaughter, Isabelle Cox of Wooster; two brothers, Robert and Jay Karvonen; and a sister, Carrie Karvonen.
In addition to her parents, Denise is preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Kelly Karvonen.
In keeping with her wishes, no services will be observed.
