ASHLAND — United Way of Ashland County is excited to announce the return of its annual Fun Fridays summer series, beginning Friday, June 12, at Foundation Plaza, located next to Ohio Fire.
This year’s series is presented in partnership with the Ashland Public Library to help kick off its Summer Reading Program.
Lunch and entertainment will begin at approximately 11:45 a.m. on each Fun Friday.
Attendees of all ages are invited to enjoy free family-friendly entertainment, lunch, and opportunities to sign up for the Ashland Public Library’s Summer Reading Program.

Friday, July 10 – Ashland Theatre - Showing of Disney’s Moana
- Special hula dance performance by Manivic’s Dance Company

Friday, August 7 – Foundation Plaza - Entertainment: BugMan Education & Science Show

Donations are appreciated and will help support the purchase of school supplies for United Way’s Back 2 School event in August.
The June 12 and Aug. 7 events will be held at Foundation Plaza, with food and entertainment beginning at 11:45 a.m. and concluding around 1 to 1:15 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.
The July 10 Fun Friday will be held at the Ashland Theatre, with Moana beginning at noon.
In the event of rain during the June or August outdoor programs, entertainment will be canceled; however, food will still be available.
