ASHLAND — Ashland County Prosecuting Attorney Chris Tunnell released eight felony indictments Tuesday, issued by the most recent Ashland County grand jury.
The grand jury met for one day in July, Tunnell said in a press release.
A total of 15 indictments were issued in July. Seven of those remain sealed because they had not been served at the time of the press release.
Below is a list of the eight individuals who were indicted, according to the county’s prosecutor. Those individuals have or will appear in Ashland County Common Pleas Court.
July indictments in Ashland County
- Faubert Stvil, 43, of Dayton, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs (two counts), possession of cocaine, trafficking in cocaine, aggravated trafficking in drugs, tampering with evidence and possessing criminal tools. The Ohio State Highway Patrol filed the initial complaint on May 29 and was the investigating agency.
- Reed Saltzgaber, 20, of Ashland, was charged with domestic violence, robbery and disrupting public service. The Ashland County Sheriff’s Office filed the initial complaint on June 22 and was the investigating agency.
- Valena Long, 38, of Ashland, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs and possession of cocaine. The Ashland Police Division filed the initial complaint on June 23 and was the investigating agency.
- Jaden Bendar, 19, of Ashland, was charged with retaliation (three counts) and operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a drug of abuse or a combination of them. ACSO filed the initial complaint on June 26 and was the investigating agency.
- David Brashear, 43, of Solon, was charged with felonious assault, obstructing official business and aggravated menacing. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources filed the initial complaint on June 29 and was the investigating agency.
- Rangel Rodriguez-Perez, 22, of Cleveland, was charged with harassment with a bodily substance (two counts), assault, vandalism, receiving stolen property, obstructing official business, violation of traffic laws and operating a motor vehicle bearing an invalid license. ACSO filed the initial complaint June 29 and was the investigating agency.
- Joshua Boley, 44, of Ashland, was charged with domestic violence, strangulation and disrupting public services. ACSO filed the initial complaint on July 2 and was the investigating agency.
- Michael Brown, 33, of Ashland, was charged with domestic violence and endangering children (two counts). APD filed the initial complaint on July 6 and was the investigating agency.
