Robert J. Hall, 81 of Ashland passed from this life on Saturday, July 18, 2026 in his home unexpectedly.
He was born on July 7, 1945 in Fulton, New York the son of the late Forest and Laura (nee Marsden) Hall.
Bob proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He entered in 1965 and was honorably discharged in 1968. He was awarded a Purple Heart for his service.
He married the love of his life, the former Janet Marie Koch, on August 23, 1969.
Bob retired after many years from the City of Ashland, Wastewater Treatment plant. He was previously employed as a heavy equipment mechanic for most of his working years.
Throughout his life, he loved being outdoors, both hunting and fishing. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a devoted member of Cross Connect Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mrs. Janet Hall of Ashland; three daughters, Kimberly (Todd) Brinkman of Columbus, Diane Hall of Ashland, and Karen (Ricky Bond) Hall of Mansfield; six grandchildren, Alex and Katie Brinkman, Abigail (Austin) Conner, Matisen Lamborn, Jack Lamborn, and Khloe Bond; two great grandchildren, Finnan and Ember Conner; one brother, Larry (Thelma) Hall of Florida; and one sister, Jane Hall of New York.
In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by one brother, Glen (Nancy) Hall.
