Kerry Stephen Augustine, 83, of Polk, passed away on Saturday afternoon July 25th 2026 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital.
Kerry was born on October 24th 1942 in Youngstown, the son of the late Frank and Victoria (Fodor) Augustine.
He attended Girard High School and was a proud Army veteran.
He was employed by General Motors at the Lordstown plant, retiring after 30 years. After that he was a simple man who enjoyed driving around town and playing his tickets.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Wilma Augustine (Furr), sister Elaine Richards, and brother Gregg Augustine.
He leaves behind his children Troy Augustine of Utah, Adam Augustine of Polk, Laura Stuhr (Derek) of Kansas, Kara Shibler (Andrew) of Kansas, Raymond Baer of Leavittsburg, and Diane Thomas (Scott) of Akron along with 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He also leaves behind sisters Tricia Colclough (Tom), Lissa Penza (Tom), Janna Augustine (Al Bauman) and Sharon Augustine.
An interment service will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the Polk Cemetery with Trudy Bates, Celebrant presiding.
