Larry L. Baughman age 88 of Ashland, passed away with his family by his side on August 28, 2026 in Kearney, Missouri.
Born in Ashland, Ohio on July 14, 1938 the son of George and Evelyn (Lisle) Baughman he had been a resident of Ashland all of his life. Mr. Baughman had been employed at General Motors before his retirement after 43 years of employment. He was a graduate of Ashland High School and enjoyed participating in Car Show’s.
On July 14, 1961 Larry was married to Joan Sexton who precedes him in death.
Surviving are two children, Tami (Chris) Malec and Terry (Liby) Baughman. Also surviving are grandchildren, Christopher (Megan) Baughman and Cory (Chelsea Frizzell) Baughman. Three great granddaughters and three great grandsons also survive, Alexis McGoun, Lucy Curtis and Lilly Curtis, Wilson Roepke, Henry Roepke and Rory Hayes Lisle Baughman. He is also survived by many car show friends.
In addition to his wife, Joan, he is preceded in death by his parents; one brother Gary Baughman, niece, Paula Weirick and great-granddaughter Hazel Grace Brohm Baughman.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 9, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Heyl Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin McClain officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday September 9, 2026 from 10:00 am till 11:00 am. Internment will follow at the Ashland County Memorial Park.
