ASHLAND — Ashland University’s Homecoming 2026 festivities will bring alumni, students and their families, faculty and staff together Oct. 2 to 4 for a weekend filled with familiar traditions, reunions, new events and plenty of opportunities to cheer on Eagle teams.
Friday’s festivities include the 50th reunion dinner for the Class of 1976, a dedication of a new sign outside Fraternity Circle marking the 60th anniversary of fraternities at AU and a volleyball match at Kates Gymnasium at 6 p.m.
The bulk of the Homecoming celebration will take place Saturday. New this year are a ribbon-cutting for McB’s Career Closet in the Dauch College of Business and Economics at 9 a.m. and tours of Amstuz Hall and Jacobs Hall, which both underwent major renovations this summer. Tours will be offered from 10-11 a.m. and 2-3 p.m.
Annual favorites include the AU Hall-of-Fame induction ceremony at 9 a.m. (tickets required), the 5K Fun Run at 9:30 a.m., the “Welcome-Home”-coming Coffee at 10:30 a.m. and the Pizza Pizza Pizza Fan Fest beginning at 11:30 a.m. and leading up to the 1 p.m. football game against Tiffin University.
Following the football game will be the 5th Quarter Celebration in the Alumni Room of the John C. Myers Convocation Center. Fans can also cheer on the men’s and women’s soccer teams at 3:30 and 6:30, respectively, and the volleyball team at 5 p.m.
There will also be plenty of activities for children, including the return of the Eagle Scavenger Hunt and the debut of Eagle Bingo. Participants can pick up scavenger hunt sheets and bingo cards at Safety Services, located in the Hawkins-Conard Student Center, and return completed activities for a chance to win a gift card to the AU Campus Store.
A photo prop station will be available at Pizza Pizza Pizza as well.
