Cindy S. Belanger age 73 of Ashland, passed away on September 24, 2026 unexpectedly at her residence.
Born on Ashland on November 8, 1952 the daughter of Robert and Wilma (Motter) Wilson, she had been a resident of Ashland all of her life. Cindy had been employed with the Ashland County Sheriffs Office until her retirement. She was also a graduate of Ashland High School and served her country as a veteran with the Untied States Army. Cindy was a member of the Ashland County Veterans Honor Guard. She was also a member of VFW post 1067 and Am Vets post 96. She enjoyed spending time with her family and singing Karaoke.
Surviving are two children, Nikki (Tyrone) Banks of Ashland and Matt (Janet) Brown of Ashland. Also surviving are grandchildren, Chris Harman, Cody (Brittany) Brown, Chelsea (Travis) Ropp and Adrianna Reed-Banks. Two great grandson’s also survive, Trent Brown and Michael Lewis. One sister Sandy Culp (Tim Baxter) also survives.
Cindy is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Betty Lou Clantz
A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held on November 7, 2026 at the Ashland VFW (Upstairs) at 1:00 pm.
