ASHLAND — Ashland Regional Ballet will host its 39th annual Choreography Showcase on Friday, Oct. 2, and Saturday, Oct. 3, at 7 p.m. at Opus Rehearsal Hall on 2nd Street in Ashland.
Tickets are $10 and are available online, at the studio during class hours, or at the door while supplies last.

The annual Choreography Showcase provides a venue for dance students to express themselves and explore the craft of choreography. Each choreographer is responsible for all aspects of their work, including casting, music selection, rehearsals, and costuming. Presenters range from experienced choreographers to first-time participants.

Lilliana Benshoff, Lela Burras, Iris Bricker, Charles Coon, Leona Haglund, Rose Hawks, Elliott Kitts, Anne Shenberger, Belle Sparr, Addy Sumpter, Nora Studer, and Emery Vaught.
Ashland Regional Ballet Alumnae Presenting Works
Adra Herod and Teagan Kime.
“Trickle, Trickle (& A Final Bow)” will also be presented, based on an original performance as curtain call from the 1990 Choreography Showcase. The piece was originally choreographed by Ashland Regional Ballet Executive Director and Founder Hellie Schussler.

Other dancers appearing at the request of the choreographers include Ashland Regional Ballet members Madelynn Cole, Abbigale Crist, Hayden Culler, Stella Donatini, Autumn Harpster, Rose Jackson, Kinsley Kline, Dylan McQuate, Emersyn Metheney, Madelyn Shenberger, Audrie Shirley, Gianna Sinchok, and Alysia Szasz-Benedek.
Opus II Dance Studio students appearing include Lilah Forbes, Jewels Hrinda, and Elsie Sponsler.
The Choreography Showcase celebrates the creativity, individuality, and dedication of the dancers and choreographers who bring their original works to the stage each year.
