Peggy S. Scheelk, 68, of Ashland passed away early Monday morning, September 21, 2026, in her home.
She was born on March 29, 1958, in Ashland, the daughter of the late Floyd and Dorothy (nee Fulton) Ferguson.
Peggy graduated from Clover Leaf High School, Class of 1976.
Throughout her life, Peggy enjoyed playing bingo, crafts, card games, and spending time with family and friends. She was also an avid reader.
She is survived by one daughter, Tasha (Doug Neahusan) Riley of Sandusky, Michigan; three siblings, Barbara (Robert) Bigley of Creston, Edward (Angel Warner) Ferguson of Ashland, and Cheryl (Walter) Foulks of Mansfield; a sister-in-law, Wilma Ferguson of Tampa, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Peggy is preceded in death by one daughter, Tabitha Ferguson who passed away on November 1, 1980; one brother, William Ferguson; and two sisters, Beverly Jo Ferguson and Nancy Lynn Ferguson.
A Celebration of Peggy’s life will be held this fall.
