JEROMESVILLE — Quarterback Kael Lewis had another huge night and not so coincidentally so did Hillsdale in a 49-0 beating of Northwestern during a Wayne County Athletic League encounter.

Lewis threw for three scores and ran for two more to key Friday night’s victory at Hillsdale High School.

The Falcons roared to a 21-0 first-quarter lead and enjoyed a 43-0 halftime bulge. Hillsdale scored its final touchdown in the third period as the entire second half was played with a running clock.

Lewis finished with 280 yards of total offense, including 99 yards rushing. Ayden Salyer had 3 catches for 102 yards and a score to boost the Falcons.

Hillsdale improves to 6-1 overall, 3-1 in the WCAL. The Falcons travel to Rittman next week.

The Huskies dropped to 2-5, 0-4, and bus to Waynedale on Friday night.
