Lynne Ann Minnich, 78 of Ashland passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
She was born on October 1, 1948, in Richfield, the daughter of the late John and Marion (nee Parr) Caban.
Lynne graduated from Revere High School, Class of 1966. She went on to further her education and earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Ashland College in 1970. Lynne later earned a degree in nursing from North Central State College.
She married the love of her life, Jim Minnich, in June of 1968.
Lynne was employed at Medical Associates for several years and also worked alongside her husband at Minnich Manufacturing.
She was a devoted member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Throughout her life, she enjoyed crafting, painting, and using her artistic talent. Lynne was an avid cook, having achieved three awards on the Morning Exchange. She was an active volunteer and supporter with No Pawz Left Behind.
Lynne is survived by her children, Rob Minnich, Jamie (Jeff) McDaniel, Heather (Todd) Jurjevic; 11 grandchildren, Triton (Megan), Takara Knepp (Kevin), Keegan (Jordan), Hudson, Addi (Sam), Cami (Kenton), Rylan, Natalie (Nic), Luke, Owen, and Ethan; and six great grandchildren, Garnet, Ellis, Ilia, Sova, Margo, and Maeve.
In addition to her parents, Lynne is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Jim, who passed away on March 23, 2023; and two sisters, Eileen Caban and Joy (Harry) Charlesworth.
A private family service will be held in the Trinity Lutheran Church with Reverend Kevin McClain presiding.
