ASHLAND — Members of Ashland FFA have returned home after an exciting and successful trip to the 99th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis.

The trip was filled with educational experiences, exciting adventures, and outstanding accomplishments that made the experience one to remember.

During their time in Indianapolis, Ashland FFA members had the opportunity to tour Fair Oaks Farms, where they learned about dairy cattle, milk production, agricultural technology, and swine production through the Swine Adventure.

The tour provided members with a firsthand look at modern agricultural practices and the technology used in today’s agriculture industry.

Members also attended the rodeo during the convention. Despite experiencing a bus transmission problem along the way, the group persevered and made it to the event, creating another memorable moment during the trip.

One of the biggest highlights was the success of Ashland FFA’s National Floriculture Team. Haley McNaull, Hannah McNaull, Elise Frazer, and Gwenyth Miller represented Ashland FFA at the national level after years of hard work and preparation.

Haley McNaull earned first place in the nation in the Crop Production Proficiency Award, using her chrysanthemum project to demonstrate her agricultural knowledge and experience.

The Floriculture Team also earned outstanding national results. Haley McNaull placed first overall in the floriculture contest, while Hannah McNaull, Elise Frazer, and Gwenyth Miller each earned Gold Individual awards. Together, the team earned second place overall in the nation.

These accomplishments reflect the members’ dedication, teamwork, and commitment to agricultural education. The chapter also recognizes Mary Cox for her significant contributions to the floriculture team’s success and her continued support of the entire Ashland FFA chapter.

The trip was made possible through the support of chapter sponsors, families, and supporters. Ashland FFA also extends a special thank-you to advisor Tod Fox and chaperones Amanda Spellman and Megan Holland for their time, dedication, and support throughout the trip.

Beyond the competitions and educational activities, members enjoyed spending time together, exploring new places, and making memories. Photographs from the trip capture the fun, laughter, and adventures that made the experience special for everyone involved.

As Ashland FFA members return home, they bring back not only national recognition but also valuable knowledge, new experiences, and memories that will last a lifetime. The chapter is proud of its members and grateful to everyone who helped make the trip to the 99th National FFA Convention possible.
