ASHLAND — The first month of the new year has come and gone, bringing with it more health inspection records.
The Ashland County Health Department only conducted a handful of inspections — four, to be exact — in the month of January. Three of the inspections took place within Ashland city limits, and one in Loudonville.
Health department inspectors visit local food vendors “one to four times a year” to ensure that they are in compliance with Ohio’s Food Safety Regulations, according to its website. Additionally, all local food vendors are required to have a license from the health department.
A full list of the department’s inspections completed recently is available here.
