BLOOMINGGROVE TOWNSHIP — Two people were killed in a two-vehicle, head-on collision Monday at 6:19 a.m. on Ohio 13 between Free and Noble roads in Bloominggrove Township, according to the Mansfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred when a northbound 1997 Buick LeSabre drove left of center and collided with a southbound 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan, troopers said.
Charmeka Sherman, 33, of Sandusky, was driving the LeSabre. Brian Hall, 37, of Wakeman, Ohio, was driving the Caravan. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
CB&S Joint Fire Department/EMS, Ohio Dept. of Transportation and Valley Towing assisted at the scene. Ohio 13 was closed in both directions for about four hours, but has since reopened.
The crash remains under investigation, according to the patrol.
