Shirley Jane Shaffer, who preferred being called Jane, age 86 of Loudonville, Ohio died September 20, 2024 with her family at her side following an accident.
Jane was born October 25 1937 in Holmes County, Ohio. She was the daughter of William Sylvester McClure and Elma M. (Arnold) McClure. She was a former owner of the Arcade Restaurant and Pool Room in Loudonville.
Jane was a life member of the Perrysville VFW, Robert L. Frank Post #8586 and also lived to enjoy card parties. Jane will be missed by all.
Survivors include her partner, Nilo Brown; former husband Willard Shaffer; siblings, Hershel (Rhojean) McClure, Sandy (Dave) Stake, Judy Ferguson, Charlotte (Joe) Rutherford; children, Clifford (Rebecca) Odenkirk, William Odenkirk, Beth (Steve) Conrad, Robert Odenkirk, Brian (Wanda) Odenkirk, Brad (Jetta) Odenkirk and Jason (Jen) Shaffer; step-children, Brad and Kirt Brown and 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Gerald McClure, Opal Lehr, Eleanor Duncan, Cleabelle and Bonnie McClure. Also, first husband, William Odenkirk.
There will be no services per her request.
