Big tech is in a race to build as much data processing power as possible: wherever they can, whatever the cost. Our Ohio communities are in the crosshairs. Communities across Ohio are fighting back to save their farmland, their water, their property values, their jobs from being replaced by AI, and their pocketbooks from being gouged to subsidize power generation for data centers.

Sign the petition to put a ban on large data centers on the ballot. Sat, May 9, 9am-3pm, at the Flea Market at Ashland County Fairgrounds.

The annual Law Enforcement Torch Run is almost here! We are currently raising money for the event, which goes to our local, Ashland County Dragons Special Olympic team! The event with begin with law enforcement and friends running from the Ashland Police Division to Dairy Queen, where we will pick up the athletes. We will continue our run tho the Corner Park (Main St. @ Claremont Ave.) for a small celebration and pictures.

The Ashland Cancer Crusaders will be hosting a Relay For Life event, Cruisin For A Cure, on Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 10:00am-3:00pm at the Ashland County Fairgrounds. This event will raise money for the American Cancer Society and the fight against cancer. Activities during the event will include a car show and cornhole tournament starting at 11:00 with both registrations beginning at 10:00. A silent auction will be from 10-2 and a vendor show will also be ongoing during the entire time. There will also be food trucks at the event. Esbenshade Concessions, Looney Lemon, Puglisi Pizza and Crumble Creations will be there supporting the cause.

The 2026 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) is scheduled to take place from 3 December to 12 December 2026 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. As the premier championship event for the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), it will feature the top 15 contestants in various disciplines, including bull riding, barrel racing, and steer wrestling.
