Join us at the Bailey Lakes Hall for a look at local history including Bailey Lakes, Clear Creek Township, and Savannah. Several artifacts, documents, flags, and more will be on display from 10 am – 5 pm on July 25, 2026.
All ages and abilities are invited for a friendly pickup softball game along with lawn games, kickball, hog roast and ice cream. Ball players please bring glove & bag. Limited bleacher seating is available; spectators encouraged to bring lawn chairs to relax afterward with music from Rosenedge.

Scholar Rebecca Marks Jimerson takes on the persona of author, activist, and civil rights leader Coretta Scott King in a living history performance on Saturday, July 25 at 8:00 p.m. at the Guy C. Myers Memorial Band Shell at Brookside Park, 209 Parkside Drive, Ashland. After the first-person characterization of King, Rebecca will participate in a Q&A session, first as Coretta Scott King and then as herself.
Opening Music Act at 7:00 p.m. – Roger & Robin
Ashland Chautauqua’s 5-day America’s Stories event, in celebration of America 250, runs from July 21-25, 2026 with daytime workshops at various locations in Ashland County and living history performances each evening at Guy C. Myers Memorial Band Shell at Brookside Park, Ashland. All events are free, open to the public, accessible and sensory-friendly.

Kno-Ho-Co-Ashland Health Services is holding a golf scramble fundraiser at the Little Apple Golf Course in Bellville, OH, on August 1st. Shotgun Start at 9:00am. Food will be provided. ALL beverages must be purchased on site. Proceeds to support uninsured Women obtain Mammogram and/or Cervical Cancer Screenings through one of the health services clinics in Ashland, Coshocton, Holmes, and Knox Counties.
