Get ready to kick off summer with a SPLASH at The Ashland Kroc Center with the grand opening of RJ’s Spray Park the start of our Summer Food Service Program!

Join us Monday, June 8 beginning at NOON for an afternoon packed with water fun, games, treats, and FREE lunch for all youth ages 18 & under as we celebrate the start of our Summer Food Service Program!

Special guest: The Kona Ice Truck will be onsite with icy treats available for purchase!

After the celebration, RJ’s Spray Park will remain FREE and open to the public Monday–Friday from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. through August 21 (hours based on past usage and availability).

FREE SUMMER LUNCHES CONTINUE! In partnership with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, we’ll continue serving FREE lunches Monday–Friday through August 7 from 12–12:45 p.m. on our back patio. Kids of all ages are welcome — no questions asked

The Ashland Cancer Crusaders will be hosting a Relay For Life event, Cruisin For A Cure, on Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 10:00am-3:00pm at the Ashland County Fairgrounds. This event will raise money for the American Cancer Society and the fight against cancer. Activities during the event will include a car show and cornhole tournament starting at 11:00 with both registrations beginning at 10:00. A silent auction will be from 10-2 and a vendor show will also be ongoing during the entire time. There will also be food trucks at the event. Esbenshade Concessions, Looney Lemon, Puglisi Pizza and Crumble Creations will be there supporting the cause.

Hope in Motion Recovery Rally is a free, sober community event designed to bring people together in healing, encouragement, and connection—whether you are in recovery, supporting a loved one, or honoring a life touched by addiction. This year’s theme, Hope in Motion, highlights the healing power of movement through uplifting activities, fun games for all ages, inspiring personal testimonies, refreshments, and meaningful community connection. Guests will also enjoy giveaways, including water bottles, along with the opportunity to collect inspirational stickers and stickers from local service providers to personalize their bottles as a reminder of strength, support, and available community resources. The event creates a welcoming, family-friendly space centered on hope, healing, and shared resilience.
