William B. “Bill” Cahill, 79 of Ashland passed away early Tuesday morning, January 7, 2025 in the Wasen Rehabilitation Center at Brethren Care Village with his family at his side.
He was born on February 26, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio the son of the late William and Thelma (nee Goetz) Cahill.
Bill graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1964. Following his graduation he proudly enlisted in the United Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era.
Bill retired after more than 30 years in 2002 as the owner and operator of Cahill Autobody. In his retirement years, he worked both repairing and delivering boats on Lake Erie.
His true passion in life was boating, cooking, and entertaining. He was jack of all trades who loved fixing things.
Bill will be deeply missed by his loving family.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has been entrusted to Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home & Crematory.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
