Wendy Sue Gould, 59
Wendy Sue Gould, 59 of Ashland passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in her home.
She was born on September 27, 1966, in Morgantown, West Virginia the daughter of the late Harry J. and JoAnn (nee Bishop) Gould. The family relocated to the Cleveland Area in 1968.
Wendy graduated from West Tech High School, Class of 1983. She married the love of her life, Michael L. “Mike” Sams on July 20, 1983.
She retired after many years of service in 2009 from Step 2 in Perrysville.
Wendy enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and extracurricular activities. She loved her ferret companion, Rosie.
She is survived by one daughter, Brandi (Aaron) Coffy of Ashland; three sons, Michael (Kimberly) Sams, Mark Sams, and Brandon (Madison) Gould of Ashland; nine grandchildren, Hayden and Mason Sams, Zephyrus Meadows, Kristen, Emma, and Owen Coffy, Braxtyn and Olivia Gould, and Liam Balduff; and one brother, Michael Gould of Morgantown, West Virginia.
In addition to her parents, Wendy is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Michael L. Sams who passed from this life on May 1, 2020.
