Bellevue’s powerful offense dominated to a resounding victory by pulling away from Shelby 55-20 for an Ohio girls basketball victory at Shelby High on Feb. 10.
The first quarter gave Bellevue a 15-9 lead over Shelby.
The Redmen’s offense steamrolled in front for a 36-14 lead over the Whippets at the intermission.
Bellevue pulled to a 45-16 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
The Redmen held on with a 10-4 scoring edge in the final quarter.
Last season, Bellevue and Shelby faced off on Feb. 22, 2025 at Bellevue High School.
Recently on Feb. 2, Shelby squared off with Lexington in a basketball game.
