ASHLAND — Ashland Source’s Emma Davis joined WRDL The Early Bird’s Word hosts Nicholas Stupka and Brandon Gunder on Thursday to talk about the latest local news.
During this week’s show, Davis focused on how supply chain complications are challenging the profits and production of local farmers. Farmers have worked in recent months to complete harvest amid part delays, and they are already concerned for next year’s harvest profits as supply shocks and high demand boosts fertilizer prices.
Davis also spoke about a recent Open Source story: What’s the status of Schine’s Theatre construction? The interior remains unfinished, according to mayor Matt Miller. Ashland Schine’s Theatre Organization is seeking out donors to fund the remainder of the project, specifically looking to raise an estimated two to three million dollars.
