Geneva topped Painesville Harvey 45-40 in a tough tilt for an Ohio boys basketball victory on March 1.

The Eagles pulled off a stirring 12-7 final quarter to trip the Red Raiders.

Nothing was decided in the third quarter, with the Eagles and the Red Raiders locked in a 33-33 stalemate.

Had this been a prize fight, Painesville Harvey would’ve earned the judge’s decision at halftime, with a 23-21 lead on Geneva.

The Eagles opened with a 13-9 advantage over the Red Raiders through the first quarter.
