ASHLAND — A pair of Ashland boys earned All-Richland Source soccer accolades on Wednesday when the squad was announced.

Meanwhile, Lexington standout Ryan Parker’s star continues to rise, which is good news for coach Peter Them.

A junior midfielder, Parker scored 33 goals and added 20 assists as the Minutemen (21-2-0) reached the state semifinals before falling to Warren Howland 3-2. He was selected to the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association All-Ohio first team in Division II and was a United Soccer Coaches All-American.

Parker was the Ohio Cardinal Conference Player of the Year and the North Central Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association Player of the Year in Division II.

The trip to the Final Four was the first for Lex since 2011. The Minutemen won 20 straight matches and set a program record with 21 victories.

“We set a whole bunch of records and did a bunch of things that hadn’t been done for a long time,” Them said.

Three other All-Ohioans joined Parker on the All-Richland Source first team.

Bryan Bostic, Ashland: A senior forward, Bostic had 20 goals an d 19 assists for the Arrows (9-6-3). Bostic was an All-Ohio first-team selection in Division I and was the North Central Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association Player of the Year in Division I.

Gavin George, Lexington: A senior forward, George was at his best during Lexington’s postseason run to the Final Four. He scored the game-winning golden goal as the Minutemen beat Madison 3-2 in overtime in the district championship match, then scored another overtime game-winner as Lex stunned Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association Division II poll champ Bay in the regional semifinals.

Kyle Woods, Ontario: A senior forward, Woods scored 11 goals and added five assists as the Warriors (10-6-3) won the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference title and a Division II sectional championship. Woods was a North Central Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association first-team pick in Division II.

James Wagner, Madison: A senior midfielder, Wagner helped lead the Rams (14-4-2) to a district runner-up finish. Wagner had 19 goals and 11 assists and was selected to the All-Ohio second team in Division II.

Teddy Togliatti, Lexington: A junior midfielder, Togliatti was instrumental during Lex’s running to the regional crown. He was selected to the NCOSSCA first team in Division II.

Seth Stoner, Clear Fork: The junior midfielder helped the Colts to a 11-5-1 record and a runner-up finish in the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference. Stoner was selected to the NCOSSCA first team in Division II.

Mason Buashak, Lexington: A senior, Buashak anchored a Lexington defense that recorded 11 shutouts on the season. Buashak was selected the Ohio Cardinal Conference Defensive Player of the Year and was an NCOSSCA first-team pick in Division II.

Dylan Metz, Madison: The senior had five goal and six assists and was the leader of the Madison defense. Metz was a NCOSSCA first-team selection in Division II.

Hayden Ruby, Ashland: A senior defenseman, Ruby had four goals and five assists. He was an Ohio Cardinal Conference first-team selection and an all-district pick in Division I by the NCOSSCA.

Gavin Kiliany, Mansfield Christian: A senior goal keeper, Kiliany was selected to the All-Ohio second team in Division III.
