ASHLAND — The building housing Ashland’s Dollar General and The Flour Barrel sold last month for $705,000, according to property transfers recorded by the Ashland County Auditors Office.
The property, located at 1289 Claremont Avenue, Ashland, was purchased by James Patrick Newkirk from RJCJ Investments, LLC.
Also, last month, the City of Ashland continued to acquire properties along its proposed Center Run Trail. The city acquired 337 Cleveland Avenue, Ashland from the Estate of James P. Costello for $75,000 in the last month.
