MANSFIELD — Men from across the tri-county area, Ashland, Richland and Crawford, were part of this week’s Most Wanted list compiled by the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force in the Richland County division for the week of Feb. 8.
An extra precaution was sent with one of the men possibly armed.
Gary Murphy, 57, is 6-foot, 232 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. He is wanted for a probation violation on a larceny charge and on a child neglect charge. Officials say he has ties to the Lowell and Bucyrus areas.
Charles McCarty II, 45, is 6-foot, 175 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. He is sought for tampering with evidence. Officials say he has ties to the Ashland and Mansfield areas.
Jason Smith, 35, is 5-foot-10, 188 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He is sought for a probation violation on an original charge of violating protection order. Officials say he has ties to the Shelby, Mansfield and Ravenna areas.
Jason Harris, 40, is 5-foot-10, 210 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He is sought for third-degree felony domestic violence. Authorities say he has ties to the Mansfield, Columbus, and Pickerington areas. In addition, officials say he may be armed and anyone that sees him should use extreme caution.
