MANSFIELD — Mansfield Senior’s continued resurgence hasn’t gone unnoticed among the Ohio Cardinal Conference coaches.

Senior High’s Kiersten Bradley and Monetta Hilory were both first-team selections when the All-OCC teams were introduced Wednesday morning.

The Tyger tandem was joined on the first team by Madison’s Faith Kuhn, Ashland’s Makaree Chapman and Mount Vernon’s McKenna Brokaw. West Holmes’ Kinsey Patterson and Ella McMillan and Wooster’s Eily Badertscher and Tori Pettorini rounded out the first team.

Wooster’s Nora Levy was the OCC Player of the Year. West Holmes’ Lindsy Snyder was the Coach of the Year.

Bradley and Hilory helped lead Mansfield Senior to a berth in the district tournament for a second straight year. Bradley averaged a team-best 11.8 points a game, while Hilory was good for 9.8 points a game.

Madison’s Kuhn was one of the OCC’s top scorers and rebounders. The Shawnee State volleyball recruit averaged 17.2 points and 10.2 rebounds a game.

A freshman, Chapman averaged 10.3 points a game for the Arrows.

Mansfield Senior’s Kiyah Wentz was a second-team pick, along with Lexington’s Lexi Blasberg, Ashland’s Klaira Paramore and Mount Vernon’s Nevaeh Williams. Other second-teamers included West Holmes Allie McMillen and Melanie Fair and Wooster’s Graace Kostohryz.

Honorable-mention selections were Ashland’s Lilly Pool and Audra McBride, Lexington’s Madi Basilone and Lizzie Hamler, Madison’s Alexsia Davis and Natalee Back, Mansfield Senior’s Juleah Windham and Annaleise Norris, Mount Vernon’s Mac Schlosser and Emilee Burke, West Holmes’ Claire Reynolds and Keegan Uhl and Wooster’s Grace Grey and Haylee Braden.

West Holmes won the OCC championship for the second straight year and the 11th time overall. The Knights were 11-1 in OCC play, followed by Wooster (9-3) and Mount Vernon (8-4).
