ASHLAND — Ashland Source reporter Dillon Carr stopped by the WRDL Studios on Thursday for a weekly segment on The Early Bird’s Word.
Carr highlighted some of the behind the scenes in reporting on Ben Bowman, an Ashland trucker who decided earlier in March to join the People’s Convoy in the Washington D.C. area.
Carr spent around 90 hours with Bowman on the road. What followed was a three-part series. Part 1 introduced Bowman as a hugger, a man of faith and a driver of a heavy truck .
Part 2 delved into some of Bowman’s life experiences that shaped his world views.
Part 3 got into an angelic encounter that he is still working to understand.
