ASHLAND — Marissa Young, of Hillsdale High School, and Samantha Patterson, of Mapleton High School, were chosen the Ashland County-West Holmes Career Center Students of the Month for February.
Young, in the Career Center’s Cosmetology program, was named the Junior Student of the Month.
She is the daughter of Doug and Danette Young and resides in Hayesville.
Patterson, in the Career Center’s Health Technology program, was named the Senior Student of the Month.
She is the daughter of Jim Patterson and Tina Patterson and resides in Sullivan.
Both students were recognized at the March regular meeting of the Career Center’s Board of Education.
Each will be given a certificate and a special sweatshirt in recognition of this honor.
