ASHLAND — The Ashland Symphony Orchestra’s Board of Directors has implemented new ticket price options for the 2022-2023 season.
Tickets for children and students, including college students, are now free with the purchase of an adult or senior (65 and up) ticket. However, they may be purchased for $5 each to benefit the ASO. There is no limit on the number of child/student tickets per adult ticket. Free tickets are only available by phone or at the door.
Students in 9th-12th grade and college students who are not accompanied by an adult or senior may take advantage of a BOGO offer and purchase two tickets for $5.
Participants in SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer), WIC (Women, Infants, and Children), and Medicaid may purchase an adult or senior ticket for $5. Free children’s tickets are included with this offer. Proof of participation in these programs is required.
Unaccompanied college students participating in these programs may receive a free ticket with the presentation of their college ID and proof of participation. This option is only available by phone or at the door.
“Providing opportunities to experience the Arts in Ashland County regardless of economic status is vital to our community,” says ASO Board Member and Secretary Rebecca Owens.”The ASO feeds the mind, body, and soul. We want everyone to have a chance to enjoy the Jewel of Ashland County.”
Board Member Mark Gorsuch agreed.
“Art and accessibility is something I am passionate about,” Gorsuch said. “A person’s financial circumstances should not determine their ability to access, experience, and enjoy the fine arts.”

Regular ticket prices are $24 for adults and $21 for seniors.
