ASHLAND — Fifteen people received sentences in February for felony convictions in Ashland County.
One sentence was given Feb. 1:
- Jeremy Griffits, 44, of Ashland, was sentenced to a minimum of three years and a maximum of 4.5 years in prison for his conviction of aggravated possession of methamphetamine (second degree felony). Griffits received a jail credit of 116 days served. He will be on post-release control between 18 months and three years upon completion of his incarceration. The initial charge was filed on Oct. 10 2023.
Three sentences were given Feb. 5:
- Caden Lowe, 21, of Ashland, was sentenced to three years of community control and inpatient treatment of at least six months for his conviction of aggravated possession of methamphetamine (fifth degree felony). Lowe received a jail credit of 98 days served. He could be on post-release control for up to two years upon his completion of his incarceration. The initial charge was filed on Nov. 1, 2023.
- Lindsey Osborn, 26, Mansfield, was sentenced to three years of community control and inpatient treatment for her conviction of aggravated possession of methamphetamine (fifth degree felony). Osborn received a jail credit of 54 days served. She could be on post-release control for up to two years upon her completion of her incarceration. The initial charge was filed on Oct. 23, 2023.
- Duane Rose, 46, of Lakeville, was sentenced to 10 months in prison for his conviction of aggravated possession of methamphetamine (fifth degree felony). Rose received a jail credit of 88 days served. He could be on post-release control for up to two years upon his completion of his incarceration. The initial charge was filed July 14, 2023.
One sentence was given Feb. 6:
- Brittany Duran, 25, of Kingsville, Ohio, was sentenced to three years of community control with reserved prison time between six and 18 months for her conviction of possession of cocaine, aggravated possession of psilocybin, aggravated possession of LSD, aggravated possession of 3, 4-Methylenedioxymethamphetamine and aggravated possession of methamphetamine. She received a jail credit of 121 days served. She could be on post-release control for up to two years upon her completion of her incarceration. The initial charge was filed on Nov. 18, 2022.
Three sentences were given Feb. 12:
- Clifford Neely, 57, of Butler, was sentenced to five years of community control with reserved prison time between six to 12 months for his conviction of breaking and entering. He received a jail credit of four days served. He could be on post-release control for up to two years upon his completion of his incarceration. The initial charge was filed on Nov. 17, 2023.
- Stacey Cunningham, 38, of Shreve, Ohio, was sentenced to six months in prison to be served consecutive to a Stark County case. He was convicted in Ashland of aggravated possession of methamphetamine (fifth degree felony). He received a jail credit for two days served. The initial charge was filed on Feb. 17, 2023.
- Amado Reyes, 51, of Richfield, Ohio, was sentenced to a total of 21.5 to 25.5 years in prison for his conviction of gross sexual imposition, pandering obscenity involving a minor or impaired person, illegal use of minor or impaired person in nudity-oriented material or performance, endangering children and tampering. His cell phone was forfeited to the state and he must register as a tier II sex offender. Upon release, he will be on post-release control for five years. He received a jail credit of 57 days served. The initial charge was filed Feb. 10, 2023 and included several other related charges.
One sentence was given Feb. 15:
- Lashell Cordwell, 43, of Mansfield, was sentenced to three years of community control with reserved prison time between six to 12 months for the conviction of aggravated possession of cocaine. Cordwell received a jail credit of 82 days served. The initial charge was filed on May 12, 2023.
Three sentences were given Feb. 26:
- Jesse Alvineda, 46, of Ashland, was sentenced to one year of community control with reserved prison time between six to 12 months for the conviction of aggravated possession of methamphetamine. Alvineda received a jail credit of 173 days served.
- Jerry Lawson, 30, of Chattanooga, Tenn., was sentenced to three years of community control with reserved prison time between six and 12 months for the conviction of possession of cocaine. Lawson received a jail credit of 94 days served in jail. The initial charge was filed Nov. 2, 2023.
- Aaron Drushell, 46, of Ashland was sentenced to three years of community control with reserved prison time between nine and 36 months for the conviction of tampering with evidence. He received a jail credit of one day served. The initial charge was filed June 9, 2023 with charges of five counts of rape, one count of kidnapping and one count of gross sexual imposition.
Three sentences were given Feb. 29
- Cassie Muscari, 38, of Ona, W. Va., was sentenced to three years of community control with reserved prison time between nine and 36 months for the conviction of obstructing justice, aggravated possession of drugs and possession of a fentanyl-related compound. Muscari received a jail credit for 125 days served. The initial charge was filed Oct. 20, 2023.
- Brandon Butler, 31, of Indianapolis, was sentenced to a year in prison for the conviction of having weapons under disability. Butler received jail credit for 101 days served. He could be placed on post-release control of up to two years upon his completion of incarceration. The initial charge was filed on Nov. 21, 2023.
- Christopher Tracy, 28, of Mansfield, was sentenced to an aggregate prison sentence of 45 months for the conviction of five counts of breaking and entering, four counts of grand theft, one count of theft, one count of vandalism and one count of possessing criminal tools. He received jail credit for serving 202 days. The initial charges were filed Aug. 14, 2023.
