ASHLAND — Ashland County Women of Achievement is bringing Anne Beiler, founder of Auntie Anne’s Pretzels, and noted entrepreneur, speaker and author to Ashland.
Auntie Anne will be speaking at the Ashland Theatre on Thursday, May 8 , at 7 p.m.
Anne Beiler began twisting pretzels in 1987 and grew a single farmer’s market stand into Auntie Anne’s®, the world’s largest hand-rolled soft pretzel franchise.
Her professional success, however, was forged after years of darkness, depression, and despair brought on by the death of her 19-month-old daughter.
Anne’s personal story and entrepreneurial insights are featured on many television shows, including ABC’s Secret Millionaire and Good Morning America. In addition, she has been
highlighted in numerous publications such as Fortune Magazine and Inc. Magazine.
In 2005, Anne sold Auntie Anne’s® and has authored three books: Twist of Faith, The Secret Lies Within, and Overcome and Lead.
Today, Anne speaks to audiences worldwide, inspiring people with her authentic stories and life experiences.
Ashland Women of Achievement are excited to have Anne Beiler speak in Ashland, where they believe her message of resilience and entrepreneurship will touch all walks of Ashland community life, and inspire others to do the same.
Tickets are $20 for general admission and $15 for balcony, and can be purchased at www.theashland.org , or by calling the theatre at (419) 281-1515.
Ashland County Women of Achievement are extraordinary women who play an important role in the success and betterment of the Ashland community. Ashland County Women of Achievement was founded by Kay Conrad in 1990. Kay was a staunch advocate of women’s issues, and she believed it was crucial to recognize and celebrate the contributions women make to our community, contributions which often go unnoticed. Each year, the Women of Achievement board recognizes a select group of women, who represent outstanding achievements in their fields, or who have reached beyond their field to contribute substantially to the quality of life in Ashland County, through their involvement in family, career, community, volunteerism, and social issues. Over 230 Ashland County women have been recognized as Women of Achievement, and continue to make our community a better place for all.
