Why did Steve Jobs have such sparse furnishings in his home? Why did the Jobs family spend weeks debating on a choice of washing machine? In this workshop, we’ll take a look at regular products we use day-to-day and see for ourselves why Steve Jobs often saw them as less than “insanely-great!” How might functional design improve the way we look at products? Also, what was it about the Steve Jobs presentation style that made his innovations stand out? This workshop is led by scholar Jeremy Meier who will be portraying Steve Jobs on July 19.
The workshop will be held at the Ashland County Senior Citizens Center, 615 W. 10th Street, Ashland.
Ashland Chautauqua’s 5-day Breaking Barriers event runs from July 15-19, 2025 with daytime workshops at various locations and living history performances each evening at Myers Memorial Band Shell at Brookside Park, Ashland.
