ASHLAND — Ashland High School’s 243-member Class of 2026 turned its tassels Saturday morning in front of friends, family and several district staff members.

Remarks were shared by Superintendent Steve Paramore, Ashland Mayor Matt Miller and Lily Macnamara, class president.

High school Principal Josh Packard led the recognition of senior award recipients and Haley McNaull was the featured senior speaker.

Yellow roses and a candle were included in memory of Alden Bashline, a member of the AHS Class of 2026 who passed away in November 2024 after a courageous lifetime battle fighting muscular dystrophy, according to his obituary.

The high school band also performed during graduation exercises Saturday.
