Sheila Kay Gribben, 73 of Ashland passed from this life early Sunday morning, October 25, 2026 in Brethren Care Village.
She was born on May 4, 1953 in Ashland the daughter of the late Delbert and Portia (née Arnold) Gribben.
Sheila graduated from Mapleton High School, Class of 1972. She participated in the Link Day program for many years.
She was a member of the McElroy Road Church of Christ.
Sheila is survived by one sister, Sharon (Tim) Myers of Ashland; two brothers, Jim (Pam) Gribben of Ashland and William (Ellen) Gribben of Jeromesville; 5 nieces, 5 nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sheila is preceded in death by one sister and brother-in-law, Shirley (Jonathan) Ekey.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dean Jackson presiding. Interment will follow in the Ashland County Memorial Park. Family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McElroy Road Church of Christ, 297 N. McElroy Road, Mansfield, Ohio 44905 or to Mapleton Class of 1972 reunion committee.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Fresenius Kidney Care Ashland, along with Dr. Young, Gentiva Hospice, and Brethren Care Village for the wonderful care they provided to Sheila.
