ASHLAND — The following criminal charges were filed in April with Ashland County Common Pleas Court.
The court closed 49 cases in April; 31 of those were criminal cases, according to data provided by the court administrator.
Indictments
The following 20 people were the subject of an indictment and have or will appear before the Ashland County Court of Common Pleas:
Tristan Bailey, 25, of Shelby, was charged with theft. The charge was filed April 12 by an Ashland County grand jury in connection to an incident authorities say happened between July 1 and Aug. 5, 2022.
Tony Becker, 50, of Ashland, was charged with unlawful sexual conduct. The charge was filed April 29 by Ashland police in connection to an incident authorities say happened between April 26 and April 27.
Joshua Boucher, 43, of Mount Gilead, was charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle and four counts of failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer. The charges were filed April 3 by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office in connection to an incident authorities say happened on April 1.
Rodney Wayne Filibeck, 58, of Mansfield, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs and two OVIs. The charges were filed April 11 by an Ashland County grand jury in connection to an incident authorities say happened Jan. 1.
Darwin Ramos Gamboa, 36, of Cleveland, was charged with carrying a concealed weapon. The charge was filed April 16 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol in connection to an incident authorities say happened April 14.
Jennifer Jarosz, 55, of Nova, was charged with illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto grounds and possession of drugs. The charges were filed April 11 by an Ashland County grand jury in connection to an incident authorities say happened July 4, 2022.
Jeremiah Kleinsmith, 38, of Ashland, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The charge was filed April 24 by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office in connection to an incident authorities say happened April 22.
Jeremiah Lehman, 38, of Ashland, was charged with possession of marijuana. The charge was filed April 11 by an Ashland County grand jury in connection to an incident authorities say happened Feb. 26, 2023.
Crystal Matyasevich, 39, of Ashland, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The charge was filed April 24 by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office in connection to an incident authorities say happened April 22.
Nathan Nichols, 38, of Ashland, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The charge was filed April 3 by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office in connection to an incident authorities say happened March 31.
Russell Norris II, 40, of Ashland, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The charge was filed April 5 by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office in connection to an incident authorities say happened April 4.
Ashley M. Patterson, 40, of Ashland, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. The charge was filed April 11 by an Ashland County grand jury in connection to an incident authorities say happened Jan. 27.
Joshua Schoonover, 32, of Ashland, was charged with two counts of theft, two counts of possession of drugs and one count each of misuse of credit cards and possession of cocaine. The charges were filed April 11 by an Ashland County grand jury in connection to an incident authorities say happened Jan. 22.
Shayla Sexton, 29, of Ashland, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs and misdemeanor theft. The charges were filed April 12 by an Ashland County grand jury in connection to an incident authorities say happened Feb. 18.
Dalton Shomate, 25, of Ashland, was charged with theft. The charge was filed April 26 by Ashland police in connection to an incident authorities say happened between April 23-25.
Laura Vance, 58, of Crestline, was charged with possession of cocaine. The charge was filed April 25 by Ashland police in connection to an incident authorities say happened April 23.
Amy Wamack, 41, of Ashland, was charged with pandering obscenity involving a minor or impaired person. The charge was filed April 18 by Ashland police in connection to an incident authorities say happened April 16.
Joseph Windsor, 53, of Mansfield, was charged with possession of cocaine. The charge was filed April 25 by Ashland police in connection to an incident authorities say happened April 23.
Jonathan Yaney, 49, of Ashland, was charged with gross sexual imposition. The charge was filed April 9 by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office in connection to incidents authorities say happened between April 26, 2007 through April 25, 2015.
Randy Young, 54, of Sullivan, was charged with aggravated burglary. The charge was filed April 29 by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office in connection to an incident authorities say happened April 27.
