NANKIN — Blue skies and sunshine supplied a picturesque background for Mapleton’s 60 graduating seniors Sunday on the high school football field.
Owen Sheppard delivered the Salutatory Address and Audrey Hellickson followed with the Valedictory Address. Scott Gerwig provided the commencement address.
The class colors were black and pink, its flower was a white lily and the class song was Rascal Flatts’ “Life is a Highway.”
The motto for the Class of 2026 was a quote from Eleanor Roosevelt:
“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”
