Pickerington North broke on top and refused to fold in holding off Columbus Bishop Hartley 56-52 for an Ohio girls basketball victory on January 26.

The Hawks had the advantage to start the final period, but the Panthers won the session and the game with a 36-32 performance.

A half tie at 20-20 allowed for a respite as both teams looked to regroup in the locker room.

The Hawks showed they were ready to play, using an early thrust to carve out a 9-4 advantage over the Panthers as the first quarter ended.
