JEROMESVILLE — The Hillsdale FFA Novice Parliamentary Procedure team finished third in state competition on Saturday, Dec. 11 on Ohio State’s main campus.
Students participating in the Parliamentary Procedure Leadership Development Event (LDE) are evaluated on their ability to conduct an orderly and efficient meeting using parliamentary procedure. Participants are judged on their knowledge of parliamentary law and their ability to present logical, realistic and convincing debate and motions.
The team members have to be 7th, 8th, or 9th graders to compete in Novice Parliamentary Procedure.
The team members included: Bradey Krichbaum, President; Ethan Miller, Vice President; Baylee Weber, Secretary; Willow Funk, Treasurer; Lincoln Jones, Reporter; Dally Meek, Sentinel; Bella Stutz, Student Advisor; Rosalynne Weekley, Kambin Smith, Peighton Thomas, Members.
The team got 1st and 2nd in Sub-District, 1st in District, and 3rd in State.
