E. Juanita Finley, 90 of Ashland passed away on Tuesday afternoon, August 19, 2025 in her home with her family by her side.

She was born on April 26, 1935 in Newark, Ohio the daughter of the late Robert and Luella (nee Ullman) Martin.

Juanita graduated from Loudonville High School, Class of 1953. She married David L. Finley on March 3, 1979.

Juanita was employed for many years at the A.L. Garber Company. Along with her husband, David, she owned and operated Kendall Radiator Service in Ashland. They then founded and operated Folding Carton Services in Ashland. And later opened The Point, a small ice cream and sandwich shop at the point of E. Main Street and E. Liberty St. in Ashland.

Throughout her life, she was an avid reader of both the Amish genre and most importantly her Bible. She was a lover of all animals and gardening. Juanita was a devoted member of Park Street Brethren Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Kim (Jack) Hiller and Kelly Hubler, both of Ashland and Shannon (Stephen) Foskett of Hudson, Ohio; grandchildren, Aaron (Nicole) Hiller, Shannon Wyatt, Crystal Hamilton, Kacey Hildebrand (Mike), Ally (Adam) Goble, Grant, Grace, and Greta Foskett; great grandchildren, Riley and Rori Hiller, Cordell (fiancé Gabbie Grant) and Carly Wyatt, Michael and Carver Hamilton, and Kendall and Mackenzie Goble; and one brother, Jeff (Bobbie) Martin of Texas.

In addition to her parents, Juanita is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, David Finley who passed away on December 28, 2022; one son, Alan Hildebrand; and her siblings, Terry Martin, Karen (Bob) Schultz, and Norma (Alex) Johnson.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 12:00 a.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Trudy Bates presiding. Interment will follow in the Nankin Cemetery. Friends and family may visit two hours prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A meal and time of fellowship will follow the interment in the Legacy Room at the funeral home.
